On October 9th we flew to see Michelle, Mike and the grandkids in Colorado. We went to Macie's soccer game, Checked out their new school, Imagine Charter School, Shopped, ate out, went to see a movie, More soccer games for Andrew and Kyle.
We dorve up to Estes Park and stayed the night in a condo and toured through Rocky Mountain National Park to see the many elk. It was cold but we had lots of fun with the family. I will post pcitures later.
Girls Trip to Palm Springs
Debbie and I went to Palm Springs on September 20-25. We flew into Ontario and drove to Palm Desert where we stayed at the Marriott's Shadow Ridge Resort.
The weather was warm and we went outlet shopping, dining out, movies, street fair shopping, spa treatments, relaxing by the pool and just having a great time.
It was so nice to relax and not be on a schedule. I even taught her how to view her kids blogs and comment on them.

Summer 2008
We had a lot of fun this summer but it went by too fast.
Michelle and Family met us at the cabin on Memorial weekend and came back to Utah with us for 2 weeks.
Jace was baptised on May 31st and we celebrated at Red Robin.

We visited all the graves for family night and had tin foil dinners at the park.
We used the pool many times and Macie and Luke learned to swim in the deep water.
We went to see Indiana Bones at the Desert Star Theater, Footloose and Feeling Groovy at RMT, Cori Conners dress rehersal of Saints on the Seas, where Macie got her autograph on her CD Pontiac Rocket, walked and rode the Lagoon Trail.
We went to Jaron's school program where he had made a diahrama of and report on Daggett County. That's where our cabin is located.

We went to Flow Rider, in Ogden, where the kids learned to body surf and had lunch at Pizza factory. Then we went bowling at Fat Cats. We watched some people do I Fly. Mabe next year we will try that. Looks fun but scary.
We went to This is the Place Heritage State Park and learned about the pioneers and had a picnic lunch.
Mothers and daughters went to Park City to see the opening day of Mama Mia and shopped the factory outlets. Had lunch I think?

Sydney fell down the stairs, Macie cut her head open and Kyle almost drowned in the pool. How's that for excitement!!
For Grandma's birthday we took her to the Quilt Shop Hop and out to lunch at Archibalds at Gardner Village.
Michelle came back in July for 2 weeks and we went to see the Music Man at Woodland Park, Went to gateway to play in the fountains and have lunch.

Went the the days of 47 rodeo with Grandma, Michelle, and Travis & some grandkids. President Monson was there also and was the highlight of the rodeo!
Michelle and I needed a Massage after all that, so we did at Massage Envy.

We had lots of BBQ's and swimming get togethers. We went to a movie or 2.
Attended Farmington festival days Parade and festivities at the park.
Michelle and Mike left with Kyle and Sydney to drive back to Colorado and Andrew and Macie got to stay another week with us and we went to the cabin where they went tubing and fishing then they flew home all alone. Big grown up kids.
Feel free to add your own family picture- it is taking me 30 minutes per picture- I am not sure why. If you don't I will get around to it sooner or later. Does someone want to come up with a family mission statement that we can put in place of my cheesey "An Eternal Family on Earth". Or if we all want to come up with a sentence that can be included in the mission statement that would be great!
